Valentine’s Day | A Grungy Makeup Look For Green Eyes

There’s exactly two kinds of people: those who hardcore love Valentine’s Day, and those who don’t. I’m certainly the latter. Still, this day has its benefits. I always use it as an excuse to wear bolder makeup, even though I never give it the romantic, rosy touch one would expect from a Valentine’s look. Instead, I opt for shades that enhance my eye colour – because frankly, all we need on Valentine’s day is to feel gorgeous, whether or not there is a special someone in our lives.

Alternatively, this is a great look for Galentine’s day as well!

The Urban Decay Naked Heat palette is clearly the star of the show. It has amazingly pigmented shades that look exceptionally stunning on green or hazel eyes. What more could I want?

I used En Fuego and Chaser as my transition colours, and darkened my crease with Ashes. On the lower lash line I applied both Ashes and En Fuego again and lightly blended them together with Chaser. But we aren’t on the full-on glam road yet. To amp it up just a little more, I patted Scorched onto the centre portion of my lid. BAM! (Unfortunately this is the part that doesn’t show up on camera, but it’s there – I promise.)

To finish things off I used the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes mascara. It’s perfect for adding a little bit of drama.

Do you celebrate Galentine’s or Valentine’s Day with some special makeup look? Can you not be bothered at all? Whatever kinda gal (or guy) you are, I hope you have a wonderful day. Don’t let the cutesy couples get you down!

Flawless makeup, I like such shades – everyday, honestly, I do not care about V-Day, I think that such nice shades are good for every day without any occasion 🙂

Oh, your comment just made my day! And yeah, I totally agree, we don’t need special occasions for this kind of makeup. Everyone should wear whichever shades whenever they feel like it 🙂 xx
